Sully: The Man, The Pilot, The Hero, The Poet?

There is this flight out of La Gurardia with 155 people aboard. The plane hits a flock of kamikaze geese from Canada. Both engines are disabled. The pilot, calmly and skillfully, lands (so to speak) the flight safely in the Hudson.

So, what do you do after accomplishing such achievement? No, you don’t go to Disney World. That’s soooooo 90s. You land a book deal – or two.

Captain Sullenberger has reported signed a $3 million deal with a publisher to write 2 books: a memoir and a collection of inspirational poems. Yes, poems.
